The first ever Bond film. There is no doubt that the reason Bond caught on is the popularity of Dr No. Many people say that Dr No resembles Ian Fleming’s book the closest out of the 22 film’s. It is quite a complicated film that requires you to pay attention throughout the film to understand what happens. The basic story line that Bond is sent to Jamaica to investigate the death of an MI6 agent. After talking to a few people and getting rid of a few baddies he, Fielix Lighter and Quarrel who is a local fisherman the trio go to crab key island. Lighter then go’s back to the village leaving Bond and Quarrel to investigate. Quarrel is Killed but Bond meet’s a girl named Honey Ryder. The two of them are taken to see Dr No and are then put in seprate cell’s. Bond then escapes through an air vent, rescues Honey and set’s Dr No’s plant alight. The two of them then make off in a speed boat.
